An Afternoon at the Robert Frost Stone House

  • Robert Frost Stone House Museum 121 Vermont Route 7a Shaftsbury, VT, 05262 United States (map)

Shaftsbury's own, Watson Wheeler Cider, is excited to host a pressing demonstration onsite at the Robert Frost Stone House Museum. Join us as we press a unique blend of apples harvested from the Bennington College Orchard property. Come and enjoy this hands-on experience, learn about our process and taste the delicious, local and freshly pressed apples that enticed even Frost himself to settle in this special corner of Vermont.

Watson Wheeler Cider will also be sampling our alcoholic ciders for those 21 and older. Additionally, you can purchase ciders by the cup or bottle from 1p-4p.  This autumn event will feature poetry readings by Vermont poet James Crews and friends Rage Hezekiah and Diana Whitney reading their work and poems from the newly released three-volume set of anthologies, A Boxful of Poetry. The reading will begin at 1p, and signed copies of this beautiful box set will be available for purchase. We hope to see you there!
